The area surrounding Villa Gimenez has everything from beautiful clean blue flag beaches to a vast array of bars and typical Spanish restaurants. It also has many golf courses 3 within 10 minutes drive away at La Marquesa (Ciudad Quesada) Villa Martin, Las Ramblas and Campoamour all pay & play but its best to book (from £40 a round + buggy fee). The nearest large town is Guardamar Del Segura which is 5 minutes drive - with a good range of shops, a weekly market plus a large marina with a promenade which holds regular evening craft fairs.
